The following career paths give prospective learners some ideas of what they can expect to pursue on completion of Beautiko's Health and Skincare Diploma and the the various modular courses on offer.

The Aestheticienne/Therapist

Aesthetician’s provide preventative skin care and offer treatments that keep the skin healthy and treatments that render the client more aesthetically appealing for example depilation, manicures and make-up.

Medical Esthetics

Highly trained Specialists are also sought after in the medical aesthetic and Medi-spa industry using a variety of cosmeceutical treatments and new technologies to include: laser, electrical synergy, permanent hair removal, fruity acid peeling systems, derma brasive treatments, light therapy and cryotherapy .

The Make-up Artist

Make-up artists have been trained to beautify the facial features by skilful application of cosmetics. The make-up artist assists clients in selecting and applying make-up products in order to create the best look for the individual. Techniques and applications include the preparation of the client for make-up analysis, corrective techniques and contouring, special techniques and application for lashes, lips, cheek colour and facial powder. Make-up artists can also enter the exciting world of theatre, film and television.
